Do you take custom orders?
Absolutely! Most of our favorite creations began as custom requests. If you'd like something made just for you, visit our Custom Orders pages to start your request. We'll work with you to design the perfect piece to fit your needs, budget, and aesthetic.
How long do custom orders take?
It depends on the complexity of the piece and our current order volume. Simple projects may take a couple of weeks, while larger or more intricate builds can take a month or more. We'll always provide an estimated timeline before any work begins, and yes- rush orders are available when possible for an extra charge.
Do you restock sold-out items?
Sometimes! Many of our pieces are made from limited or one-of-a-kind leathers, meaning once they're gone, they're gone. However, similar styles or variants often return- it never hurts to ask if something can be reborn in a new hide. As we refine our craft, some designs evolve with small upgrades or variations based on feedback from travelers who've taken our work into the world.
Do you offer repairs or adjustments?
In most cases, yes. If a piece from us needs mending or resizing, contact us directly and we will asses what can be done. Every creation deserves a long and well-traveled life. If it's a leather piece that wasn't originally created by us, we'll still take a look and provide a quote and timeline if repair is possible.
Do you accept returns or refunds?
Because each piece is handcrafted and often made to order, all sales are final. However, if your item arrives damaged or there's an issue with craftmanship, please reach out within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.
Can you work within a certain budget?
Of course. Just let us know your range when submitting a custom order- we're happy to adjust materials or designs to bring your idea to life without draining your coin purse.
Who actually makes the products?
Everything from Zphyr Winds Leatherworks is handmade by Zphyr (that's me!) and occasionally from my dad- known affectionately as pDad. Each piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand by one of the two of us.
Workshop Policies:
Shipping:
All ready-to-shop items are mailed within 3-5 business days. Custom orders vary depending on complexity and queue size- estimated turnaround times will be provided when your order is confirmed. Each parcel will be carefully wrapped for its journey, bound for your doorstep with a touch of adventure.
Packaging:
Every order is packed by hand- sturdy enough for travel, simple enough to honor the craft. Whenever possible, we reuse or recycle materials. A good story shouldn't leave too much behind.
Returns/Exchanges:
Because each creation is handcrafted (and sometimes one-of-a-kind), all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or if something isn't quite right, please reach out within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.
Cancellations:
Custom orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. Once materials are cut or work has begun, cancellations cannot be accepted. If an order must be cancelled after 24 hours, the deposit will not be returned- the leather has already been claimed by the craft.
Shipping Issues:
Once a parcel leaves our hands, it begins its own journey through distant lands (and postal systems). While we can't control delays or losses along the way, we'll gladly help track it down and assist with any claims where possible.
